DOHA - Ben Spies is only able to occupy the third position in the MotoGP test session in Qatar, last night. Even so, Spies pleaded not disappointed with the result.
This is the third time trial session Spies in MotoGP class. Previously, World Superbike champion (WSBK) 2009 was successfully occupy seven positions on the first day of testing at Sepang and the next five days in the same place.
Seharunya, this test becomes a proof for Spies. But, of the 17 drivers who follow this session, Texas-born driver was able to occupy the third rank.
"I know this track from WSBK event last year. But under the motorhome lights were new and had never experienced before, "said Spies quoted Crash, Friday (19/3/2010).
"Obviously I am happy to record a better time, but I still have to improve the appearance and do not drift off with this result. I really had fallen, but not too serious, "continued the American racer.
"Nevertheless, to reach the top three is a fantastic result for the workers at the Monster Yamaha Tech 3. They really have my full support, "he concluded
